Marina Facilities:  Water Recreation Area

Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is a year-round, full-service marina with modern cabins and a 100-site campground on Lake Whitney in North Central Texas. Enjoy lakeside recreation and activities, observe sunsets, watch boaters and skiers on the water, and more from the water rec area.

There is a required daily fee charged to enter, park, or use facilities at Lake Whitney Marina. The water rec fee does not include use of other facilities on the property. Visitors are responsible for registering with the marina immediately upon arrival and paying all fees before use. Vehicle tags are required. Hours are dawn to dusk.

Pets must be pre-approved by management before they may be brought onto the property.

Review policies and property rules before arriving on the property, which include:

• Vehicles and trailers must use designated parking lots only. Do not park on grass, near gates, in front of cones or other barriers, or in water rec area..

• Vehicles may be operated on roadways only. Do not drive on the grass, off roadways, beyond barriers, along shoreline, hillsides, or open grass areas.

• Visitors need to display a valid vehicle tag at all times while on the property.

• Swim at your own risk.

• No lifeguards are on duty.

• Children must be supervised at all times. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Wear a life jacket.

• No fishing allowed in water rec area.

• No boating, anchoring, diving, or jet skiing permitted in water rec area.

• No glass containers permitted around shoreline.

• No littering. Discard cigarette butts and bottle tops in proper receptacle. Trash dumpsters are located in front of the dry storage gates and in the ship's store parking lot.

• No campfires or grills allowed near shoreline.
