WHO WE ARE We're a full-service marina operating year-round on Lake Whitney. We sit on approximately sixty acres and two miles of shoreline of USACE property. We offer several facilities and services including covered wet slips up to 50'x16', uncovered slips, end-ties, annual dockage licenses, a floating ship's store, gasoline, dry storage, lakefront parking, access to two boat ramps at different elevations, a water rec area, bait, a fish cleaning station, vessel pumpout, unleaded gasoline, bags of ice, beer, and more. We also have a five-loop campground with approximately 100 sites. It's available for overnight accommodations only -- stay in one of the cedar cabins (1RM/1BA up to 2BR/2BA) or one of the campsites (partial or full hookups with up to 30A or 50A). Refer to marina or campground to learn more. OWNERS & OPERATORS Jerry and Claire Anderson are the co-owners and operators of Lake Whitney Marina. Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is one of three commercial marinas that operate on Lake Whitney and serve the boating public. The other marinas on the lake are Harbor Master and Uncle Gus'. WHERE WE ARE We're conveniently located mid-lake between the mouth of the Brazos River and the Whitney Dam. This is a deep water area near the main river channel at Cedar Creek. We're less than twenty miles from the I-35 Corridor in Hillsboro. We're the closest marina near downtown Whitney, grocery stores, and restaurants. By car, we're a few minutes from Lake Whitney State Park and the following USACE parks: Cedar Creek Park, McCown Valley Park, and Cedron Creek Park. CLEAN MARINA CERTIFICATION Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is a Clean Texas Marina. The Clean Marina program recognizes marinas for their effort to be environmentally responsible and allows boaters to identify those marinas that promote clean activities and follow best management practices. The Clean Marina program is a joint project of the Texas Sea Grant College, Marina Association of Texas, Texas General Land Office, and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The owners of Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove received a "Marina of the Year" award at the 32nd Annual Marina Association of Texas Conference in Corpus Christi, Texas.
