WHY CHOOSE LAKE WHITNEY MARINA @ JUNIPER COVE

Near major roadways

Lake Whitney Marina is in North Central Texas just west of Hillsboro and the I-35 Corridor. It's less than twenty miles from Hillsboro to the marina's boat docks.

Close to town
We're the closest marina near downtown Whitney, restaurants, and grocery stores. We're minutes from the Lake Whitney State Park and several USACE-operated parks -- McCown Valley, Cedar Creek, and Cedron Creek.

Located mid-lake
We're located mid-lake between the mouth of the Brazos River and the Whitney Dam. We're east of the Katy Bridge.

Lakefront with direct access
We sit on sixty acres and two miles of shoreline of government land with direct lake access! We have panoramic views of the water and surrounding area. Next to the marina are open areas for cruising, sailing, jet skiing, wakesurfing, kneeboarding, waterskiing, and wakeboarding, and protected coves for paddling, fishing, and relaxing. We're one of the few places on Lake Whitney where you can boat for the day and stay overnight at the same place.

Deep water
Keep your boat in a deep water marina! We're near the main river channel, which is a deep water area of the reservoir. Access the lake even when lake levels are far below normal -- we offer access to two boat ramps at different elevations.
