Marina @ Juniper Cove. This list is subject to change without advance notice. Contact the owners
of Lake Whitney Marina if you have any questions or
need additional information.

USACE Rules & Regulations (Title 36)

Alcohol
No one may possess an open container of an alcoholic
beverage on the store dock or the walkway leading up to
the parking lot.
Bank fishing
Bank fishing is not
permitted.
Beaching vessels
Boats and jet skis cannot be beached along the shoreline
or moored. They cannot be left unattended at any time. Vessels must be trailered
and parked in the parking lot, taken back to your cabin
or campsite, or tied up
in the assigned
dockage space specified in a written agreement with Lake
Whitney Marina.
Boat dock access
Docks are owned by Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove.
Only authorized individuals and pre-approved vessels
associated with a valid written dockage license
agreement on file with the marina are allowed to access
a dock, occupy
a dockage space. No trespassing.
Boat ramp platform
Platforms and walkways at boat ramps are for loading and
unloading passengers only. Vessels cannot be left
unattended. No fishing, cast nets, swimming, jumping or
diving in the water, horseplay, sitting, or sunbathing
on or near platforms.
Cleaning, rinsing, washing (Vehicles, RVs,
Boats)
No vessels, trailers, vehicles, camping units or similar items may be
washed, cleaned, or rinsed with water in
the campground area, at individual campsites or cabins, or
in parking lots. They must
be taken off the property to be cleaned. Note: There are
car wash facilities (with tall bays) located within a
few miles of Lake Whitney Marina.
Diving
No diving allowed. This includes salvage, commercial,
recreation, and cleaning hulls.
Drones
No drones allowed.
Fireworks
Fireworks are prohibited. They shall not be possessed,
stored, or discharged at Lake Whitney Marina. Refer to
USACE Rules & Regulations (Title 36).
Fish cleaning
Refer to
fish cleaning
for information about where
fish shall be cleaned; use of fish cleaning tables,
sinks, or boards on the property; and where to dispose
of fish parts and waste.
Glass
No glass or glass containers are allowed on docks, dock
walkways, floating platforms,
boat ramps, parking areas, at the water rec area, or near the shoreline.
This includes bottles, jars, tabletops, bulbs on string
lights at dock patios, and drinking glasses.
Hunting, shooting, target practice, feeding,
trapping
Hunting, shooting, target practice, feeding, and
trapping is prohibited at Lake Whitney Marina. Refer to
USACE Rules & Regulations (Title 36).
Kiddie pools
No inflatable, portable, or kiddie pools allowed on the
property.
Maintenance and repairs (Vehicles, RVs, Boats)
No vessels or trailers, vehicles, camping units, or
similar items may be repaired or maintained in
the campground area, at individual campsites or cabins, or
in parking lots. Any vehicles or vessels that are not
operational must be removed from the property
immediately.
Metal detectors
Metal detectors are prohibited at Lake Whitney Marina.
Noise, Music, Speakers
No loud music, televisions, radios, marine VHF radios,
or hands-free phone calls are allowed on docks, on
vessels tied up in the marina, in campground areas, at
the water rec area, dry storage areas, or in parking
lots. PA systems, karaoke machines, recorded music, live
bands, and outdoor speakers are not permitted on the
property.
Open Flames
No open flames are permitted on boat docks, aboard any
vessels tied up in the marina, in boat storage areas on
land, or inside any cabins or rental RVs. This includes
tiki torches, candles, and cutting torches.
Pets
Due to insurance
requirements, each pet must be
individually approved by the owners of Lake Whitney
Marina before being brought on the property. Breed
restrictions apply. Pit bulls, chows, rottweilers, and
other aggressive breeds are not permitted on the
property. Pet owners are required to pick up after their

Photography, Video, Film
Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is privately-owned
and operated. It is private property. No commercial
photography, video, or filming allowed. For information about filming at Lake Whitney
and/or on
government-owned land, contact the USACE.
Portable fuel containers
View
portable fuel containers for information about
possessing portable fuel containers on the property
along with using, dispensing, or transporting different
types of fuel.
Portable grills
No portable grills shall be stored on boat docks or
aboard vessels tied up in the marina. This includes
charcoal grills, gas grills, and any folding or tabletop
styles.
Portable grills may be used at designated cabins and
campsites only by registered guests with advance
reservations. Portable grills shall not be operated
inside cabins or rental RVs, on porches or steps, wood
decks, or on wood or plastic picnic tables.
Speed limit
The speed limit at Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is
10 MPH. The speed limit on Juniper Cove Road is 35 MPH.
Swimming
No swimming allowed at the marina. This includes along
the shoreline; near any dock, pier, platform, or boat
ramp; or around any docked vessels.
Theft of service
Refer to theft of
service for information about the state penal code,
definition of theft of service, and examples, such as
departing the property without paying for cabins or
campsites, and unauthorized access and use of water or
electrical services at docks, slips, cabins, or
campsites.
Tobacco
All
cabins, rental RVs, facilities, boat storage areas, fueling areas, boat docks,
porches, and buildings are NO SMOKING. Tobacco products
may not be used in these areas and this includes
e-cigarettes and vaping.
Trash dumpsters
Only trash generated on docks and in the campground may
be discarded in trash dumpsters. No boat equipment, RV
equipment, auto parts, hazardous waste, household
furniture, televisions, shelves, crates, pallets,
grills, plumbing, construction materials, fish waste,
tires, paint, used oil or fuel filters, inflatables or
towables, tents, large empty boxes, christmas trees, or
household trash brought onto the property allowed. Refer
to USACE Rules & Regulations (Title 36) and State
Regulations.
USACE Rules & Regulations
Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is located not only on a
USACE-controlled reservoir, but also on government land.
In addition to rules and regulations at Lake Whitney Marina
regarding vessels, docks, staying in cabins or
campsites, boat ramp access, grills, daily fees, payments, and
any TPWD state regulations about boating, fishing, and hunting,
all visitors at Lake
Whitney are bound by the USACE federal regulations
governing public use of corps resource projects.
These USACE Rules and Regulations are referred to as
"Title 36".
