about staying at Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove.

HOW TO BOOK
-
Advance reservations are
required for all cabins, campsites, and rental RVs. Reservations are accepted only by telephone.
Call us at (254)
694-3129. The phone is answered seven days a week, 8AM-5PM CT.
-
A reservation is for one cabin, campsite, or rental RV. An advance payment
(deposit) by
credit card is due with each reservation you make. We
cannot "hold" cabins, campsites, or
rental RVs for individuals or groups. We do not
accept walk-ins.
-
Your
credit card will be charged
between the
time of booking and before you arrive on the
property. It's your responsibility to make sure the
credit card payment went through successfully. If
it's successful, then you have a confirmed
reservation to stay with us. If the credit card
charge is
denied or fails to go through for any
reason, then you do not have a reservation to stay
with us.

Reservations are accepted
on a first-come, first-serve basis. We
accept reservations up to a year in advance.
We recommend booking at least
three days
in advance for cabins, campsites, and rental RVs
during the year. For major
holidays, book cabins and campsites up to a year in
advance. For groups, book cabins and campsites once
you have a list of occupants and payment methods
finalized.

Details about a reservation are disclosed to the credit card holder
only.
CREDIT CARD HOLDER
-
Only the credit card holder
may authorize any changes,
cancellations, or additional charges to a reservation.
-
The credit card holder is responsible for
paying for overnight accommodations and any other
fees associated with the reservation,
or incurred during the stay. This may include
early arrivals, early check-ins, rule or policy
violations, damage to property, missing inventory, pet fees,
late check-outs, late departures, extra
vehicles, excessive use of electricity or water, trash bag
removal, pet waste pickup, overnight dockage (if
applicable), or departing the property with a
cabin, rental RV, or campsite area that is not
returned in the same
condition at check-out as check-in.
DEPOSIT
-
A deposit is
charged to the credit
card provided to us at the time of booking.
-
A "deposit" is in the amount of the
first night's stay plus applicable taxes and fees for the type of
accommodation you reserved.
PAYMENTS
-
Payment for all nights booked along with
any outstanding balances must
be paid in full
upon arrival on the property AND prior to entering the campground;
occupying a campsite or rental RV or cabin; receiving a cabin or rental
RV key; or accessing or using facilities and
services at Lake Whitney Marina.
-
We do not split bills.
-
Payments for any facilities,
services, or items purchased at the marina are due immediately.
Pay as you go. We do not
run tabs or accept storage charges. No
partial payments or IOUs permitted. Failure to pay for
accessing or using any facilities or services at Lake Whitney Marina
is
considered theft of service, according to
Texas Penal Code 31.04.
CANCELLATIONS
-
Requests to cancel reservations are accepted by
telephone only and during normal business
hours.
-
Reservations must be cancelled at least 21 days
prior to your check-in date to avoid forfeiture of
your deposit and any other payments made. Deposits
are non-transferable.
-
HOLIDAYS:
All deposits
and any advance payments for holiday reservations are non-refundable. Any holiday reservation not
cancelled at least 30 days prior to the check-in date will result
in a charge for the entire stay.
NO SHOWS
Failure to cancel a
reservation and occupy the booked cabin/campsite/rental RV on the
check-in date will result in a charge to your credit card for the entire stay.
CHANGES
-
Call Lake
Whitney Marina during
business hours with
requests to modify a reservation. Changes
may result in higher rates or additional fees and
charges.
-
Requests to modify a
reservation BEFORE the date of arrival is not
guaranteed and subject to availability.
-
A reservation cannot be
modified AFTER you have checked in. The length of stay for
a reservation is specified up front and cannot be
changed during your stay. No refunds or credits
issued for early departures.
-
Only the
credit card holder with the reservation may authorize
changes to the reservation or charges to the credit card.
-
HOLIDAYS
- Holiday reservations
cannot be modified; refer to the cancellation policy.
REFUNDS
-
Refunds
are not
issued for any reason including, but not limited to, early departures, weather
conditions, no shows, current lake levels, buyer's remorse, rule or policy
violations, ejection from the property, service interruptions, maintenance issues, mechanical
problems with vessels, work or job-related reasons, third-party
activities or
events, Acts of God, or any unforeseen events.

We do not offer credits or
partial refunds.
RATES
-
Call Lake Whitney Marina during business hours for current rates and
availability.
-
Rates are based on
the specific cabin, campsite, or RV rental
trailer you book. Refer to
the detailed description about a cabin, campsite, or
rental RV to see what's
included and what
to bring with you. Rates vary and
they are subject to change without notice. Taxes and fees are subject to change without
notice.
-
Outdated information
may appear online or in print without notice of any
change; it is not intended to be a final quote.
Management retains the right to refuse or cancel any
reservation with incorrect pricing or inaccurate
information provided due to typographical
error or for some other reason.
-
The rate is based on
accessing and using the one cabin, campsite, or
rental RV you reserved. The rate does not include
access or use of additional cabins, sites, or rental
RVs on the property.
-
Unauthorized access or use or services,
or occupancy of other cabins, campsites, or rental
RVs that you did not reserve and pay for in advance
is theft of service,
according to
Texas Penal Code 31.04.
Violators are subject to immediate ejection from the
property without refund.
-
The type of rate that you are charged is based on the
total nights of your stay specified at the time of booking.
Reservations cannot be changed or cancelled after
check-in. Rates for cabins and campsites can vary
based on your length of stay.The
default is being charged a rate that is per night.
To qualify for a weekly or monthly rate, you must
make a reservation with a length of stay for 7 days
or 30 days. Payment for each stay is due in full at the time of booking
and must be paid in advance to
quality for the weekly or monthly rate. No refunds
for early departures.

Rates for overnight
accommodations do not include any type of storage of vessels, trailers, or
paddlecraft at Lake Whitney Marina. It does not
include access or use of boat docks, wet slips, or
dry storage. Refer to
overnight dockage.
-
Rates for overnight accommodations do not include
storing any personal or business property at the
cabin, campsite, or elsewhere on the property during
your stay, such as golf carts, ATVs, materials,
tools, equipment, cargo trailers, furniture,
vessels, paddlecraft, trailers, vehicles, etc.
-
We do not price match any rates or fees that are offered by nearby hotels,
motels, resorts, short-term vacation rentals, or RV parks. Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove is
unique in that we are a full-service marina and
offer direct lake
access, two boat ramps, gasoline, a floating ship's
store, ice, beer, bait, lakefront daily parking,
boat docks with covered slips up to 50', on-site storage,
and that we sit on sixty acres and
two miles of shoreline of government land. We offer
registered guests a unique set of amenities. We
offer multiple types
of accommodations with different rates.
DISCOUNTS
-
To
qualify for a weekly or monthly rate, you must book
and pay for all nights up front and in full.
-
We do not accept
coupons, membership cards, or passes of any kind.
CABIN & CAMPSITE ASSIGNMENTS
-
All cabins, campsites,
and rental RVs are
assigned at the time of booking and before you arrive on
the property. No open camping. Individuals cannot
move to another campsite
or cabin without prior authorization from management.
-
Only access, occupy,
and use the campsite or cabin you reserved and paid
in full for up front. If you need additional
space after you have checked in, contact the marina's owners directly.
Additional space is not
guaranteed. Available cabins or campsites
may be located in a different area or
another loop. A change in cabin,
campsite, or rental RV may result in a higher rate.
Occupying any campsites or cabins, or accessing or
using services or hookups at other campsites or
cabins that you have not paid for in advance is
theft of service,
according to
Texas Penal Code 31.04.
Violators are subject to immediate ejection from the
property without refund. Violators are subject to
being reported to law enforcement.
ARRIVAL
-
Plan on arriving at Lake Whitney Marina
on or after check-in time.
-
Street legal, registered
automobiles and motorcycles may enter and be
operated on the property by licensed drivers. Refer
to
types of vehicles
allowed to enter and operate on the property.
-
No one may enter or
operate on the property any mini-bikes, go carts,
golf carts, ATVs, or UTVs.
-
No one may enter the
property on foot, bicycle, or horse.
CHECK-IN
-
CHECK-IN TIME - Check-in for cabins, campsites, and rental RVs
is 3:00PM.
-
A valid
driver's license must be presented at check-in time
along with the credit card used for the reservation.
The information on the driver's license must match
both the name listed on the reservation (the primary
occupant) and the name that appears on the credit
card.
This individual must be the first person to
arrive on the property. Keys to cabins and rental
RVs are issued only to the card holder.
-
All nights of your stay
and outstanding balances must be paid in full before
entering the campground area or loops.
-
EARLY CHECK-IN - Call
in advance if you plan on arriving on the property before check-in time. There
is no guarantee
a
cabin, campsite, or rental RV will be ready before 3:00PM
due to housekeeping, groundskeeping, and routine maintenance. There
is an additional charge for
an early check-in.
-
LATE CHECK-IN - Call in advance for instructions if you
plan on arriving after normal business hours.
-
Cabins and campsites must be in
the same condition at
check-in and check-out to avoid an additional
charge. The credit card holder is responsible for
any property damage along with additional
fees.
REGISTRATION
-
Individuals must register with
Lake Whitney Marina before
entering the campground area or loops, occupying
cabins or campsites, or accessing or using any
facilities in the campground or marina.
-
To register and check-in
with Lake Whitney Marina, go to the floating store
dock and enter the ship's store. Verify the
information provided in the reservation about
total occupants, vehicles, vessels, pets, and
any visitors.
-
Only the individuals that
have the reservation and who have registered with
Lake Whitney Marina may access, use, or occupy the
rented cabin, campsite, or rental RV. Cabins,
campsites, rental RVs, and other camping units may
not be occupied or used by another individual. The
cabin/campsite license agreement is
non-transferable.
-
The operator of
each vehicle
with the reservation needs to register with Lake
Whitney Marina inside the ship's store when they
first arrive on the property. A unique vehicle tag
is issued to the operator and it must be on display
at all times while on the property. One tag per
vehicle. This vehicle tag is valid
on the day of check-in (3:00 PM) through the day of
check-out (12:00PM). Vehicle tags are
non-transferable. Vehicle tags are not
distributed in advance of someone's arrival.

The individual with
the reservation must be listed as the registered
owner of the vessel, according to TPWD vessel
ownership online query, to be eligible for dockage
at Lake Whitney Marina. Overnight dockage space is
an amenity available to registered guests only.
A vessel
is assigned a space by the owners of Lake Whitney
Marina after they have checked in at the ship's
store. Dockage space is subject to availability. There is a
fee
charged per vessel for any dockage.

CHECK-OUT
-
Check-out time for cabins,
campsites, and rental RVs
is before 12:00PM.
Keys to cabins and rental RVs
need to be returned to the ship's store by check-out
time to avoid an additional charge.
-
There is an additional
fee charged to check out of a cabin,
campsite, or rental RV past 12:00PM.
-
Cabins and campsites must be in
the same condition at
check-out and check-in to avoid an additional
charge.
DEPARTURE
-
Individuals, vehicles, trailers, and camping
units must depart the campground and parking areas
no later than check-out time. This also applies to registered
guests' vessels and any dockage spaces rented
overnight.
-
No refunds or credits for early
departures.
EXTENDING YOUR STAY
-
If you are scheduled to depart on a certain day and
make arrangements to stay additional nights on the
property, be sure to sign the necessary reservation
tickets inside the ship's store as soon as possible.
This is considered a new reservation and all nights
must be paid in full up front.
-
Rates are subject to
change.
For instance, after
a one week's stay at the weekly
rate, you will be charged whatever the current rate
is of the next stay. If you stay two additional
nights, you will be charged for two nights at the
nightly rate. After staying with us for a month and
paying the month's rate, you would be charged for
two nights at the nightly rate.
-
There is no guarantee
that you will be able to stay in the same cabin,
campsite, or rental RV if you extend your stay with
us. Confirmed reservations already in the system
take priority.

VISITORS
-
While you're a registered guest of Lake Whitney
Marina, any individuals you invite to the property
during your stay are required to pay a
fee each day
they visit here.
This fee applies to immediate family members,
relatives, friends, co-workers, and associates. Your
visitors
are responsible for registering with Lake Whitney
Marina upon arrival each day.
-
Your visitors are permitted on the property from dawn
to dusk only. They are not permitted to stay
overnight in the cabin, campsite, or rental RV you
reserved.
-
Any registered guest
amenities, such as boat ramp access, daily entry
to the property, or overnight dockage (boat slip
rental) are for registered guest use only. They do not apply, include, or
transfer to other individuals, their vehicles, or
their vessels.
OCCUPANCY
-
The total number of occupants includes all children
and adults.
-
There is a maximum number of
occupants allowed with each cabin, campsite, or rental RV reservation.
This refers to the number of registered guests
associated with the reservation. It excludes
visitors. Visitors and registered guests are counted
separately.
You may access, use, and occupy only the cabins,
campsites, or rental RVs you booked and paid for in
advance. If you need additional space or services
during your stay, contact the owners of Lake Whitney
Marina first.

Exceeding the
maximum occupancy allowed at a campsite, cabin, or
rental RV; occupying additional sites with personal
property or vehicles or boat trailers; or using
services or hookups at another site or cabin may result in immediate ejection from
the property without a refund.
VEHICLES
-
There is a maximum number of vehicles the
individuals with the reservation may bring on the
property. Refer to the individual cabin, rental
RV, or campsite listing for occupancy and vehicle
limits. Registered guests that exceed this amount
will be charged an
additional fee.
-
CAMPSITE PARKING - Motorhomes and any other vehicles
towing camping units must back in from the
main roadway into their assigned campsite with
hookups facing the rear driver's side. All campsites
are back-in spaces only. Park vehicles at your
assigned site only or in the store parking lot.
-
CABIN PARKING -
Park vehicles in front of
cabins. Do not obstruct roadways around cabins. They
must remain clear for emergency vehicle access. No
parking in rear of any cabin. Do not move any
parking barriers, boards, or blocks surrounding any
cabin.
-
Individuals may operate vehicles
on roadways only and must abide by posted signs. Do not drive across open areas or
through any campsites to access your reserved
campsite, cabin, or rental RV, or for the purpose of
taking a shortcut. The operator of a vehicle is
responsible for any property damage.
-
There is not any
guarantee space will be available to park a vehicle at
the cabin,
campsite, or rental RV you reserved. No parking allowed
at unoccupied or vacant campsites. Overflow parking
for vehicles and boat trailers is located in the store
parking lot.
VESSELS
-
You must be the registered owner of any vessel you
bring on the property. Vessels must be seaworthy,
in good to new condition, registered with
TPWD, and comply with federal and state rules and
regulations. Vessels must remain free of trash and
clutter. No commercial use of vessels allowed.
-
Vessels must be operated in a safe manner and
observe NO WAKE buoys. Violators are subject to
being ejected from the property without refund.
-
Vessels shall NOT be moored, beached, or left
unattended on the shoreline, near boat ramps, in the
water rec area, or at the store dock at any time
during your stay.
-
All docks and dockage spaces are owned by Lake
Whitney Marina. No trespassing on any docks or in any dockage
spaces without prior written authorization from the owners.
-
Rates for cabins,
campsites, and RV rental trailers do NOT include any
type of dockage or storage for vessels, trailers, or paddlecraft
your may bring onto the property during your stay.

overnight dockage.
If you are interested in long-term boat or trailer
storage, speak directly with the owners of Lake
Whitney Marina for insurance requirements,
availability, and rates.
-
There is not any guarantee there will be space to
park
a boat, jet ski, or trailer at a cabin, campsite, or
rental RV. No parking allowed at unoccupied or
vacant campsites. Overflow parking for vehicles and
boat trailers is located in the store parking lot.
PETS
-
Due to insurance requirements, each pet must be
individually approved by the owners of Lake Whitney
Marina before being allowed on the property. Limitations
and restrictions apply.

rules, which apply to any pet brought onto the
property.
-
Some cabins are pet friendly.
There is a
one-time, non-refundable
pet fee
charged to the credit card if a pet is approved to
be on the property and either enter or occupy the
cabin. The fee is for the pet being inside one cabin
only.
-
The pet fee
is not a deposit. The fee does not cover additional cleaning
required, waste pickup, or damages.
TOBACCO / NO SMOKING
-
AREAS - All
cabins, porches, rental RVs, showers, restrooms, buildings, boat storage areas,
fuel storage areas, fueling areas, boat docks are NO SMOKING. Boat storage
areas include boat docks, the store dock, wet slips, and dry
storage. No vaping or electronic cigarettes. No
other tobacco products
may be used in these areas.

VIOLATIONS -
Additional fees and charges may be assessed for
rule or policy violations, such as littering or smoking in prohibited
areas. Individuals will be responsible for any damages,
deep cleaning, odors, and/or restoration of these areas
or property to
a non-smoking/tobacco-free condition.
PURPOSE AND USE OF CAMPGROUND AREA
-
The campground area and loops are to be used as overnight
accommodations for registered guests.
-
Cabins and campsites cannot
be reserved by any individual for day use activities or
to host large gatherings,
parties, multiple
day visitors, overnight guests, events, or meetings.
-
The campground area and loops cannot be used for washing,
or rinsing with water, any personal vessels, vehicles, camping
units, or equipment. Items must be taken off-site.
There is a
car wash facility
near downtown Whitney.
-
The campground area and loops cannot be used to perform major
repairs, minor repairs,
or routine maintenance of vessels, vehicles, or camping
units. Any trailers, vessels, vehicles, or camping
units that are not
operational must be removed from the property
immediately.
-
The campground area and loops cannot be used for
cleaning fish. No
fish
cleaning allowed on the property, except in the
designated area. Call us for information about where
you may fish or clean your catch during your stay.
No personal fish cleaning stations, tables, sinks,
or buckets may be brought or stored on the property.
-
The campsites are to be occupied by one camping
unit.
The sites along with other areas in the campground cannot be used to
store other items, such as boat, jet skis, or
trailers; paddlecraft; towables,
floats, or inflatables; tools or equipment; cargo
trailers; hunting or fishing gear; cords of
firewood; commercial vehicles or equipment;
household furniture; refrigerators or freezers;
garden or patio furniture; swings; hammocks;
storage containers; large smokers or cooking
equipment; extra vehicles; or
portable fuel containers.
Ask us about overnight dockage and dry storage
availability for vessels and trailers. There are
local self-storage facilities near downtown Whitney.

The campground area and loops cannot be used as a
place to perform job-related or personal projects
that involve building, painting, spray painting,
adhesives, woodworking, hot work, etc. These
activities must be performed off-site.
-
The campground area or other parts of the property
cannot be used to advertise or for conducting
business.
No advertising or soliciting allowed. No commercial
activities. No signs may be on display on the
property, including FOR SALE, FOR RENT,
or FOR LEASE. Refer to
Title 36.
LENGTH OF STAY
-
TEMPORARY - Registered guests staying in cabins, campsites, and rental RVs
at Lake Whitney Marina are transients with a temporary license to stay
on the property in overnight accommodations.
Licenses can be revoked at any time.
No permanent residences allowed. This is not a
tenant-landlord relationship.
-
MAXIMUM STAY - We're located on government land and
there is a maximum number of consecutive nights one
may stay in a cabin, campsite, or rental RV. The
maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days. No
seasonal or long-term stays.
-
MINIMUM STAY - A minimum
of two nights is required for all cabins, campsites,
and rental RVs.
-
HOLIDAYS
- On holidays, there
is a three night minimum stay
required for all cabins, campsites, and rental RVs.
MINIMUM
AGE
Renting a cabin, campsite, or
RV rental trailer is a contract
with Lake Whitney Marina. The individual making the reservation
must be of legal age to enter a binding agreement.
Individuals must be at least 18 years old to reserve a
campsite. Individuals must be at least 21 years old to reserve a
cabin or rental RV. A valid driver's license must be
presented when you check in and register.
HOLIDAYS
Spring Break, Memorial Day, Independence Day,
and Labor Day
SEASONS
Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove operates year-round.
"Spring & Summer Season" is March through September.
"Fall & Winter Season" is October through
February.
DAYS OF THE WEEK
"Weekdays" are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday. "Weekends" are Friday and Saturday .

Lake Whitney Marina accepts American Express, Discover,
Master Card, and Visa.
COMMENTS & CONCERNS
Contact the owners of the
marina directly if you have any comments,
concerns, questions, or problems. Please speak with them as
soon as possible about any problems or issues, and prior
to exiting
the property.
