Policies
HOLIDAYS: Memorial

Summer (March 1 – September 30); Fall & Winter (October 1 – February
28)
CHECK-IN
& CHECK-OUT:
Check-in begins at 3:00pm for both cabins and sites. Check-out must be completed
before
12:00pm for both cabins and sites.
CREDIT CARDS: Lake
Whitney Marina accepts American Express, Discover, Master Card, and
Visa. Only the credit card holder on file may authorize changes,
cancellations, or
charges to a reservation. Cabin keys are issued only to the credit
card holder on file for a given reservation and at the time of their
arrival and check-in at the ship's store.
DEPOSITS:
A reservation is held by credit card only. A deposit of the first
night's stay plus applicable taxes and fees is required and charged to
the card at time of reservation.
Reservations are accepted up
to a year in advance.
PAYMENT:
Payment for
all nights booked along with any other outstanding balances must be
paid in full upon arrival at check-in, and prior to occupants
occupying a site
or receiving a key to a cabin.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancel reservations by calling Lake Whitney Marina during business hours.
Reservations must be cancelled at least four (4) or more days prior to
your check-in date to avoid forfeiture of your deposit and any
payments. Deposits are non-transferrable from one reservation to another
in event of a cancellation. NO SHOW - Failure to
cancel a reservation AND occupy the booked cabin or site on the check-in date
results in a charge for the entire stay. HOLIDAYS – All deposits
and advance payments are
non-refundable. Any holiday reservation not cancelled at least (8)
days or more prior to the check-in date results in a charge for the entire stay.
CHANGES:
Modify
existing reservations by calling Lake Whitney Marina during business
hours. Changes may be requested at least (4) days or more prior to
the check-in date. Requests must be approved, are not guaranteed, and subject to availability.
Changes may result in a rate change, additional
fees, deposits, or advance payments. A reservation cannot be modified after
check-in. HOLIDAYS - Holiday reservations cannot be modified
once they are booked; refer to the Holiday Cancellation Policy and the Refunds
Policy for more information.
REFUNDS: Refunds or credits will not be
issued for any reason including, but not limited to, weather, no
shows, lake conditions, buyer's remorse, early departures, rule or
policy violations, service interruptions, maintenance issues,
third-party events, acts
of god, or unforeseen events.
DISCOUNTS:
Discounts must be mentioned at the time of reservation. Members of
Escapees RV Club and Passport America must provide a valid membership
number at the time of reservation to be eligible for a discount.
Retroactive discounts are not provided. Matching valid photo identification
and proof-of-membership must be presented at check-in. Discounts are subject
to availability and management approval. Discounts cannot be combined or used with any other offer or
discount. No discounts around holidays, on weekends, during peak
season, or with groups. Additional
restrictions may apply.
RATES: Call Lake
Whitney Marina during business hours for current rates and availability.
Rates, taxes, and fees are subject to change without notice or
obligation, and may vary by season, day, length of stay, size of
party, type of
cabin or site, or availability. Outdated information may appear
online or in print without notice of any change and not intended as
final quote. Marina Management retains right to refuse or cancel any
reservation with incorrect pricing or information either listed or provided
due to typographical error or any other error or reason.
NON-SMOKING: All
cabins, floating cabins, facilities, docks, and buildings are non-smoking
and use of any tobacco products in these areas is strictly
prohibited. Additional fees and charges will be assessed for violations, repairs, damages,
cleaning, and/or restoration of areas to a non-smoking/tobacco-free condition.
PETS: Pets are allowed
on the property on a case-by-case basis only, must be mentioned at
the time of reservation, and must be pre-approved by
Marina Management. Pets must be pre-approved to be inside a cabin. A non-refundable
$50 fee will apply for
each cabin pre-approved to have the pet. Aggressive or vicious dogs, including pit bulls, Rottweilers,
and mixed-breeds, are strictly prohibited from being on the property.
Pets are not permitted inside
cabins, floating cabins, facilities, fishing areas, docks, storage,
or buildings where they have not been pre-approved. Additional fees
and charges will apply for policy violations, repairs, damages, cleaning, odors, and/or
restoration of areas to a pet-free condition.
MINIMUM STAY:
A two (2) night minimum stay is required for all cabins and sites.
HOLIDAYS: During holidays, a three (3)
night minimum stay is required for all cabins and sites.
MINIMUM AGE:
Renting a cabin or site
is a contract; the primary occupant of any cabin, RV site, and tent
site must be of legal age to enter a binding agreement. Minimum
age to rent an RV site or tent site is 18. Minimum age to rent a cabin is 21. Valid
photo identification required at check-in.
DAY
VISITOR/ENTRY:
Day visitors must register with the marina, and obtain a day pass from the ship's store upon
arrival AND before entering the grounds, buildings, facilities,
docks, boat ramps, fishing areas, or storage, regardless of the
length of stay or reason for visit. Day-visitor fees apply year-round.
During
holidays, events, and weekends, an entry fee may be assessed per person
and/or per vehicle at the property entrance or guard booth. All fees are
non-refundable and non-transferable. Unauthorized or non-registered
individuals, vehicles, RVs, motorcycles, vessels, trailers, bicycles, or golf carts may be
reported to local authorities, charged with theft-of-service and/or
trespassing, and/or subject to towing at owner's expense without notice.
COMPLAINTS & DISPUTES:
Any complaints,
issues, concerns, or disputes must be brought to the direct attention of
Marina Management immediately and prior to check-out or departure
from
the property.
PARKING: Parking is
permitted in designated areas only, on a
first-come, first-serve basis, and not guaranteed at a cabin, RV
site or tent site.
Parking for RV sites and tent sites is restricted to only the site listed on
a reservation; additional site charges will apply
for occupying, includes parking, any other site. The boat launch parking
lot is available for vessels/trailers. The ship's store parking lot is
available for passenger vehicles without trailers. Overflow parking for
the campground and cabin area is available in the respective parking lots
above.
