Rules & Regulations
Contact management with any
questions or comments you may have about the property rules and
regulations at Lake Whitney Marina @ Juniper Cove. This is not an
exhaustive list. It was last updated on September 4, 2011.
Refer to the policies
about submitting comments or suggestions, pets being on the property,
non-smoking areas, cabin and campsite reservations, check-in and check-out
times, deposits, groups, seasons, and holidays.
General Information:

In case of emergency, first call
911 for assistance and then contact management or the ship's store. Lake
Whitney Marina's contact information is posted on the ship's store door, guard post, property maps, and
the bulletin board
displayed in the ship's store parking lot.

Day visitors along with individuals who
have cabin/campsite reservations need to go directly
to the floating ship's store
and register with Lake Whitney Marina immediately upon arrival
(view map of property). Daily entry/parking fees
are
charged by Lake Whitney Marina; they are in addition to fees
charged for facilities or services.

Fees and payments are due in advance and
must be paid in full.
Fees can vary and they are subject to change without notice.
Fees and advance payments are non-refundable and
non-transferrable.

Vehicle tags must be
visible at all times while on the property. Vehicles (license plates), boat trailers
(license plates), and vessels
(TX#) must be registered with the marina and prior to using
facilities or services on the property. Unauthorized vehicles,
trailers, and golf carts are subject to being towed from the property
at owner's expense and without notice.
Tags and related fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The speed
limit on the property is 10 mph. Watch for animals, pedestrians, children at play, and
the marina's
vehicles and golf carts. Vehicles and golf carts may operate on
roadways and park in designated areas only. Do not
drive across campsites or loops, up or down hillsides,
or beyond road barriers. Do not block access to roadways, campsites,
facilities, or others' vehicles or boat trailers. Off-road vehicles, ATVs, UTVs, mini-bikes, go-karts,
and dirt bikes may not be operated on the property. Autos,
motorcycles, RVs, boat trailers, and vessels may NOT be washed, repaired,
or maintained anywhere on the property. Bicycles are permitted on roadways
open to vehicles. Wear safety helmets while using bicycles on the property.
Do not ride or walk bicycles up or down grassy hillsides, off roadways,
near boat ramps and loading/unloading areas, any piers, or
floating docks. Avoid using bicycles dusk-to-dawn
when visibility is limited.

Quiet hours on the property are 10:00pm - 8:00am
daily.

Minors must
remain under adult supervision and control at all times. Children may
not be left unattended on the property, including the campground and
indoor fishing dock. Parents and/or legal guardians
are responsible for their children.

Transporting or
dispensing gas from any
portable container is strictly prohibited in and around the marina, and
anywhere else on the
property, including cabin and campsite
areas, parking areas, roadways, boat ramps, boat slips, and boat
docks.

Trespassing, theft of service,
disorderly conduct, criminal mischief,
illegal dumping (land or water), suspicious activities,
or other unlawful act will
be reported to law enforcement; any incident may result in ejection from the
property by marina management without refund. Violation
of marina rules or policies, or complaints received about on-site visitors or guests
can also result in
immediate ejection from the property without refund.

Discharge or use of fireworks (i.e., sparklers),
firecrackers, firearms, or explosives is prohibited year-round on the property,
which includes cabins, campsites, roadways, parking
lots, boat ramp areas, water recreation areas, piers, floating
ship's store dock, vessels in the marina, boat docks, and coves in
and around the marina. Violators may be reported to law enforcement.
Violators may be ejected immediately from the property and without refund.

Discard trash and waste in proper
receptacles; no littering. Do not dump fish parts, cigarette butts, food scraps, bottles, cans, cooking oil
or grease, ashes, or charcoal on the ground. Do not leave bags of
trash on the
ground, decks, porches, or docks for extended periods of time; trash attracts
pets, wildlife, insects,
and ants.

Be alert for wildlife (ducks, squirrels,
birds,...) and snakes; do
not feed, disturb, approach, touch, harm, or harass them.

Do not collect or disturb plants,
rocks, or other natural, historical or archeological features.

No soliciting, selling, or advertising
permitted; no distribution of printed matter allowed.

No persons
or organizations may engage in still photography or video for
non-personal use. Contact management for information.
Marina - Facilities
and Shoreline:
-
Observe all NO WAKE area, posted signs and water markers at the
marina.
-
Access to boat slips and gated boat
docks restricted to authorized persons only. Gates must remain closed and
locked at all times. -
Individuals renting a boat tie-up
at the marina must
register with the ship's store and pay required fees in full
and in advance before accessing
any slip or dock (docks are private property). All fees are non-refundable and assignments are
non-transferable. -
Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards
are on duty. No swimming allowed in boat slips, near boat docks, around
boat ramp areas, or other restricted areas.

No glass containers allowed near boat ramps,
on boat docks, in water recreation areas, or along the shoreline.
Discard containers in proper receptacles only.

Fish must be cleaned only at the
marina's fish
cleaning station; do not clean fish around cabins, floating cabins, campsites, docks, parking areas,
or picnic areas.

Fishing
permitted from indoor
fishing area and along certain areas of shoreline only. No
fishing allowed near gas pumps, boat loading/unloading areas,
boat slips, boat ramps, water recreation areas, or closed areas.

No open containers of alcohol, outside food and drinks,
sunflower seeds, smoking, radios, fans, profanity, littering,
running, jumping, diving, or swimming permitted on the floating
ship's store dock or indoor
fishing area.
Grounds:
-
Some campsites may be
restricted to certain types or lengths of
camping units.

Cabins and
campsites must be in the same condition at check-in and check-out to
avoid additional charges. Cabin
and campsite occupants are responsible for
keeping immediate areas, porches, decks, and campsites clean and tidy at all times.
Daily housekeeping or trash pickup service is not provided. Exceeding
number of occupants, camping units, boat trailers, or vehicles allowed per
campsite or
cabin will result in additional charges and/or ejection from the
property without refund. No generators may be operated in the
campground. Air conditioning
units are not permitted with tent camping. No car, truck, boat,
or dry camping allowed.

Grills
and campfires are allowed in designated areas at certain cabins
and campsites. Construction of new fire rings is prohibited.
Grills and campfires must be attended to at all times and
completely extinguished before leaving immediate area. Do not
dump ash or charcoal in dumpsters or on the ground. Burn only
firewood; do not burn cans, bottles, trash or debris. No cutting
of wood permitted on the property.
No grills or fires allowed on
shoreline, porches, decks, or boat docks.
Individuals are responsible for complying with
local burn bans or restrictions in effect in Hill County,
Texas along with related violations, penalties, and fines issued
by law enforcement.

Only plastic stakes may be used
on the property; use of metal stakes is prohibited. Oversized or
commercial structures or tent shelters must be pre-approved by management.
