OVERVIEW

Stay in a marina-owned RV already set up in the campground at Lake Whitney Marina. The RVs include full kitchens and come with full-size charcoal grills and outdoor picnic tables. Rates, photos, and detailed descriptions of each RV can be accessed below.

RENTAL RVS AT-A-GLANCE

 

General description

• What's included - Rental RVs offer air conditioning, heat, ceiling fans, a dinette or kitchen table and chairs, flat screen televisions with remote controls, private bathrooms with showers and toilets, bed pillows, bed sheets, mini-blinds, natural light, windows that open, emergency exit windows, outdoor picnic table, full-size charcoal grill, and more.

• Full kitchen - RVs with "full kitchens" include a full-size refrigerator with freezer, oven, and a 4-burner cooktop. Cooktops and ovens are gas. They also come with microwaves, 8 or 10-cup automatic coffee makers, sinks, storage cabinets, and a sitting area.

• Beds - Bed types include twin and queen. All beds come with bed pillows, pillow case, a fitted sheet, and top sheet.

• Bathrooms - All rental RVs have a shower. None of the RVs come with towels, soap, toiletries, or hair dryers.

• Charcoal grills - All rental RVs have a full-size charcoal grill. They do not include utensils, lighter fluid, charcoal briquettes, foil, pans, or brushes.

• Picnic table - All rental RVs come with a picnic table outside. The tables are wood.

• Campfires - Campfires are permitted inside an existing circle of rocks on the ground. The campfire is 36" diameter. New campfires cannot be constructed. Rocks cannot be moved. Campfires are not permitted at rental RVs. Individuals are responsible for complying with any burn bans in effect along with any citations or fines. Ask about bringing a small outdoor fireplace with a cover.

• Water - The RV is already connected to a water spigot. It's city water.

• Electric - The RV power cord is already connected to the pedestal.

• Sewer - The rental RV is already connected to the sewer hookup.

• LP gas - There are two LP gas containers at the RV. Gas is already connected to the RV.

Space

• Site - A reservation is for one cabin, one rental RV, or one campsite.

• Single space - All campsites are single space sites. The space is a combination of gravel and grass. Site lengths vary. No tents or other camping units may set up outside any rental RV.

• Accessing a campsite - Sites are accessed only from the gravel road. Pull into the space and park in front of the trailer hitch To exit the space, put the vehicle in reverse and back onto the gravel roadway. Keep off the grass areas around the campsites. Do not drive through campsites or across loops.

• Maximum occupancy - The maximum occupancy is 4 people in the Kingsport and 3 people in the Lodge.

• Maximum vehicles - One vehicle is permitted with each rental RV reservation. Your vehicle shares the same space as the rental RV. Your vehicle cannot stick out into the road. Keep off grass that surrounds the RV. Do not park on or occupy adjacent campsites. Additional parking is located in the ship's store parking lot.

Loops

• Location - Both rental RVs are in loop 2. The RVs cannot be moved to other campsites. The RVs are not driveable and do not leave the property.

Nearby

• Showers - Showers with restroom facilities are in loop 2 and loop 4.

• Restrooms - Restroom facilities are in the ship's store parking lot. The restrooms in loop 1 are closed indefinitely.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• What to bring - View what to bring with you for a list of necessary and suggested items to bring whenever you stay in a cabin, campsite, or rental RV at Lake Whitney Marina. Items to bring include trash bags for your site, trash bags for picking up pet waste, flashlights, portable sun shades, camping chairs, a folding table, picnic table cover, and disposable containers for collecting grease or oil. Refer to individual rental RV descriptions for what's included from appliances to bedding. Note: We do not provide items, such as bath towels, toiletries, trash bags, paper towel, utensils, paper plates, cups, bowls, pots, pans, dishwashing liquid, oven gloves, charcoal briquettes, grilling utensils, or outdoor chairs in cabins or rental RVs.

• Housekeeping - Daily housekeeping service is NOT provided with any cabin or rental RV.

• Condition - All cabins, campsites, and rental RVs must be in the same condition at check-out as check-in to avoid additional charges to your credit card. Individuals are responsible for keeping the RV and the immediate campsite area clean, tidy, and free of trash during their stay. View policies.

• Pets - Pets are not permitted in rental RVs. Some cabins are pet friendly. Ask us about which ones. Pet fees apply. Refer to the pet policy. View pet rules.

• Roads - We sit on government-owned land. Operate vehicles, camping units, and boat trailers on roadways only. Do not drive or park in open areas of grass. There are plants, flowers, shallow tree roots, and shallow underground water lines, sewer lines, and electrical cables running alongside, between, and behind each site and through loops. Watch for utility poles, guy wires, ground covers over underground vaults, and septic field areas. These items can be damaged if you ride over them, park on them, dig, or attempt to insert metal poles or stakes in the ground. You are responsible for any damage to property.

• Rental RV parking - Park in front of the RV only. Keep off grass. No parking in rear or alongside the RV. Do not park on adjacent campsites.

• Campsite parking - All campsites are back-in only. Park vehicles and camping units within the single space. When backing into a campsite space, watch for trees, picnic tables, circles of rocks (campfires), pedestals, posts, sewer hookups, water spigots, and electrical meters.

• Overflow parking - Additional parking is located in the ship's store parking lot for vehicles and/or boat trailers. Back in or pull in to the bottom of the hillside below the outdoor lights. No parallel parking. Stay clear of green gates. Keep off grass areas.

• Rates are per night and do not include taxes and fees. Rates vary and are subject to change.

• Overnight accommodations in cabins and marina-owned RVs are subject to a 6% state hotel occupancy tax and 3% county hotel occupancy tax for a total of 9%. Taxes and fees are subject to change.

• Rates are for overnight accommodations only.

• Rates do not include any type of wet or dry storage of vessels, paddlecraft, or trailers at Lake Whitney Marina.

• The rate per night is based on a certain number of occupants and number of vehicles at a given cabin, campsite, or rental RV. Additional charges may be assessed for extra vehicles, extra occupants, pets, day visitors (invited guests), extra vessels, early arrivals, late departures, missing items, damages, or any rule or policy violations. Refer to fees.
